In these photos I am exploring the more glamorous side of excess and addiction im a world where we are always wanting more and never satisfied with less.

A Mandala is a sacred space, often a circle which reveals some inner truth about you or the world around you.
In this modern day Mandala I have taken inspiration from the London tube map to make a comment on society and how we all take journeys everyday, spiritual or otherwise.

For five nights in December 2006 at St. Ann's Warehouse Brooklyn, Lou Reed performed his masterwork about love's dark sisters; jealousy, rage and loss.
The Berlin tour was the first time Lou Reed had played the full album live in over 30 years, after it was a critical and commercial flop when released.
With this poster advertising the concert dvd, I wanted to poke fun at the albums critics when it was released 30 years ago. I used the Snellen eye chart to illustrate my point by juxtaposing the opening lyrics to Berlin with a gradual blur referencing the short sightedness of the critics that couldn't see the albums potential.
